The First “FOTO POINT” Art Photography Exhibition was successfully opened in Vinica

On June 3, 2026, beginning at 12:00 PM, the First International Exhibition of Artistic Photography “PHOTO POINT” was officially opened in the exhibition space of the “Tosho Arsov” Cultural Center in Vinica.

The First International Exhibition of Artistic Photography “PHOTO POINT” was officially opened, organized by the Association for the Promotion of Intellectual, Multicultural, and Sports Values MOTUS and the MOTUS Photo Club.

The exhibition is held under the patronage of the International Federation of Art Photography (FIAP), the Photographic Union of Macedonia (FSM), and the International Photography Association “DUNAV” (DIPA), which is a significant recognition of the quality and international character of this photographic event.

“PHOTO POINT” was organized into three themes: Theme A – Open (monochrome and color photography), Theme B – Portraits, and Theme C – Nature, attracting great interest from photographers around the world. A total of 216 authors from 50 countries submitted a total of 2,436 photographs to the exhibition. After the selection process, the international jury, composed of Borivoje Milovanović from Serbia, Nenad Martić from Croatia, and Gligor Maksimovski from Macedonia, accepted a total of 986 photographs.

For the FIAP Best Author of the exhibition, the jury declared István Kerekes from Hungary, while the DIPA Best Author award went to Maurizio Trifilidis from Italy.

From the Republic of Macedonia, the following authors won awards:

– Stefan Nikolić, in Theme A, won a DIPA diploma with the photograph “LOVE STORY”;

– Mirza Cengic, in Theme B, for the photograph “STOJKA,” won a DIPA diploma;

– Dimche Korunovski, in Theme B, for the photograph “EL GVAJOS,” won an FSM diploma;

– Anita Palcheksa, in Theme B, for the photograph “DARKO,” won a SALON diploma and

– Mima Čolak, in Theme B, with the photograph “MARKET VENDOR” won a SALON diploma.

At the opening, all the award-winning photographs were on display, offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy various artistic approaches, themes, and photographic techniques.

With the realization of this exhibition, Vinica once again confirmed itself as an important center for cultural and artistic events, and “PHOTO POINT” represents a new platform for international cooperation, exchange of experiences, and promotion of artistic photography.

The organizers have a clear vision for this exhibition to grow into a recognizable cultural brand and trademark for Vinica in the future, one that will contribute to the city’s promotion on a national and international level. At the same time, the exhibition aims to be a significant promoter and driving force for the popularization of fine art photography, encouraging photographic creativity, international cooperation, and the development of photographic culture among the general public.

The exhibition will be open to visitors until June 15, 2026, and all photography enthusiasts will have the opportunity to view the exhibited works and familiarize themselves with contemporary trends in international photographic art.
